All Court Sittings Suspended For 2 Weeks In Nigeria
Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Tanko
Muhammad who is also the head of the National Judicial Council (NJC) on
Monday March 23, 2020, instructed all courts in the country to suspend
sittings from Tuesday March 24.
In the circular titled "Measures on the the spread of
coronavirus (COVID -19) and the protection of justices, judges and staff of
courts", the CJN ordered the suspension of court sittings in the
country for two weeks.
