BREAKING: EU Gives Nigeria €50m To Help Fight COVID-19



The European Union (EU) has reportedly given Nigeria a grant worth €50 million to fight COVID-19.

This was information was made known to the general public by the Head of the EU delegation in Nigeria, Ambassador Ketil Karlsen in a meeting with the President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja the Nations capital.

This was also confirmed by the special advicer to the president on Media and Publicity Mr. Femi Adesina through his official twitter handle on Tuesday 14th April 2020.

 At the event the EU commended the president on his address to the Nation last night and for the bold steps taken to curb the spread of the virus.
