COVID-19: Russian Woman Died On A Chair Shortly After Discharge

The Moscow authorities are investigating the case of a woman who died on a bench outside her home shortly after she was discharged from hospital for being COVID-19 negative, according to The Moscow Times.
A video extracted from the security surveillance camera shared by Russia's REN TV shows the woman in pain on the bench outside the entrance to the building where she lives, immediately after being discharged from the hospital.

Seeing that, the neighbors called an ambulance, but when the car arrived about 11 minutes later, the person stopped breathing.
The woman was identified as Yelena Chuklova, 48 years old.
Moscow authorities have opened an investigation to unravel the cause of the woman's death.

Health agency Office of the Mayor of Moscow said the woman died on April 18, the day after being hospitalized with suspected pneumonia symptoms. She was discharged from the hospital on April 18 after being negative for COVID-19.

 Autopsy results show that Chuklova died of heart failure .
Health agency Moscow Mayor's office said there were no signs of death from pneumonia or other infectious diseases.

According to the Worldometer statistics page , up to now Russia has recorded 52,763 COVID-19 infections and 456 deaths. Moscow is the most serious outbreak in the country.
