Military Fighter Jets Destroy Terrorists’ Residence In Borno – DHQ


The Defence Headquarters has just reported that the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole (OPLD), has reportedly destroyed residence housing Boko Haram Terrorists’ (BHTs’) leaders at Bulawa on the outskirts of the Sambisa Forest in Borno state.

The Coordinator of the Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, has just revealed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja during a press briefing.

Gen. John Enenche said that the air strikes were carried out on April 21st based on credible human intelligence as well as Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions that had led to the identification of the particular target compounds within that settlement.

He also clarified that the fighter jets that was sent out by the Air Task Force to take out the compounds recorded exact hits in the targeted area leading to the destruction of some of the structures there.

He also added that some terrorists that were in the compound as at the time of the Attack were also neutralized and also added that some Boko Haram fighters who had attempted to engage against the attacking fighter jets were also mopped up.

He also added that the Armed Forces of Nigeria in order to uphold peace and security in the North East will continue to sustain the offensive attack against the enemies.
