The US Continues To Be The Largest Global Outbreak With Nearly 1 Million People Infected With COVID-19

The United States continues to become the largest worldwide outbreak when COVID-19 deaths exceed 51,000, or a quarter of all deaths worldwide.

As of 6am this morning, nearly 3 million people worldwide were infected with COVID-19, including nearly 200,000 deaths. Within the last 24 hours, globally another 100,000 new infections and more than 5,600 deaths have been recorded.

The number of people being cured of the disease is 779,877, while the number of serious and serious cases is 58,361 cases.
The US continues to be the country with the most SARS-Cov-2 infected people in the world with a total of 916,348 cases. As of April 24 (US time), the United States has recorded more than 51,000 deaths due to COVID-19, equivalent to a quarter of all deaths worldwide.

President Donald Trump signed a bill on Wednesday to add an additional $ 484 billion to hospitals and small businesses as well as expand testing capabilities across the United States.

Meanwhile, the US Food and Drug Administration has warned patients and physicians about the side effects of two anti-malarial drugs in the treatment of COVID-19, which are at risk of causing serious heart problems. The drug hydroxychloroquine has been praised by President Trump as a "weapon" to treat COVID-19.

In a press conference on April 24, US New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that the new strain of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 caused the first acute COVID-19 respiratory infection to infect people in the state. New York is from Europe, not from China, and the ban on tourists from China was imposed by President Donald Trump as too late to avoid the spread of disease.

Earlier, President Trump issued a ban on people from China on February 2, more than a month after news of an outbreak in China, and decided to restrict travel from Europe in March, when the virus spread throughout the United States.
