For instance we can interest ourselves with reading an interesting novel or some other inspirational reading. And evidence has shown that new experiences can help give a happy and meaningful life and a psychologically richer one.

5.  Make Room For Guilty Pleasures
It’s okay to sometimes indulge in watching TV if that’s all you can handle at the moment. Sometimes it is permitted to enjoy your guilty pleasures and if need be remember those good moments outside which is a much needed mental refreshment nourishing and recharging you for a later day.
