10 doctors test positive for Coronavirus in Kano state

10 doctors in Kano state have according to today’s reports tested positive to Coronavirus, after they have been treating patients with symptoms of the virus at the Aminu Kano State Teaching Hospital.

The Chairman of the hospital’s branch of Association of Resident Doctors, Dr. Abubakar Nagoma had confirmed this reports while also revealing that these doctors were receiving training as consultant doctors.

He also revealed that 8 of them were already in the isolation center while the other two are self-isolating at their homes as they are not showing any symptoms and also all their close contacts have been traced.

He also added that more test results are yet to be out for other health workers and doctors in the hospital that were tested last week. And he mentioned that the number of those tested are almost hundred and more results are expected to know the fate of the other doctors and health workers.
