160 Nigerians Evacuated From US Arrive

160 Nigerians who were stranded in the United States due to the COVID-19 pandemic have just reportedly arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

According to reports the first batch of the stranded Nigerians citizens has arrived at around 11:05am on Sunday.

Among those who were evacuated includes eight infants. They had arrived on the supposed Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787 aircraft that was arranged by the Federal Government for those Stranded in the States.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, had just confirmed their arrival to the country. The returnees would be in quarantine for the next 14 days in Abuja, before they can be able to leave to their various destinations according to the standard protocols of the management of the COVID-19 Flight Task Force.
