Apple Store In The US To Reopen Next Week

After nearly two months of closure for the COVID-19 epidemic, Apple said it would reopen several retail stores next week across the states of Idaho, South Carolina, Alabama and Alaska.

Although Apple did not mention how many stores will reopen, but a total of 6 stores is located in the states. The first store to reopen will be in Boise, Idaho on Monday.

The technology giant will focus primarily on Genius Bar, which provides direct service and technology support. Because many customers need to stay connected while working from home.

Stores will apply COVID-19 anti-pandemic safety measures such as requiring body temperature checks and staff and customers must wear masks when coming here. Apple will also implement social spacing protocols, which will limit the number of customers who come here at a time.

An Apple spokesman said: 
"We recommend that customers, if possible, purchase online to avoid contact or receipt at the store." 

Apple closed all retail stores  in China in early March, and reopened several stores in Asia that were closed in February  due to the Corona virus outbreak starting in Wuhan.

The company reopened an Apple Store in Seoul, South Korea, as well as all stores in Australia and Austria. All Apple stores in Germany will reopen next Monday. The company has 510 stores worldwide, 271  of which are in the US.
