Biden Denies Sexual Assault Claim
Joe Biden has just denied the fact that he had sexually
assaulted his former assistant and has called for any relevant records to be
released to prove the claim.
He said that:
“I want to address allegations by a former staffer that I engaged in misconduct 27 years ago. They aren’t true. This never happened.”
Reade the former Senate staffer revealed that while she
worked in Biden’s Senate office in 1993, he had pushed her against a wall in an
office building, put his hand up her skirt and had sexually assaulted her with
his fingers.
She said she had reported this incident to 3 senior staffs
of the Biden’s office who had also denied being informed of this.
She had also revealed making a formal harassment report to
the Senate and neither she nor the Senate reportedly has a copy of the said
report.
The former vice president has also called on the National
Archives to unfailingly release any record of such complaint against him as
that is the only place where such complaint could be kept.
