BREAKING NEWS: NDDC Headquarters Shuts Down Over COVID-19 Scare
The management of the Niger
Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has just reportedly shut down its
headquarters due to the COVID-19 Pandemic fear.
According to reports the
fear came in after the death of a member of the Interim Management Committee of
the NDDC, Mr. Ibanga Etang.
Before his death Mr. Ibanga
Etang was the acting Executive Director of Finance and Administration and had died
on Thursday at the Rivers state University Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt after
a brief illness.
A memo which was signed for
the management of the commission by Silas Anyanwu had ordered all employees
that work at the headquarters of the commission to shut down for the next two
weeks with immediate effect.
And all the activities of the commission which are
ongoing will all be shut down, the memo reads.
