Losing Ighalo, Man Utd coach Solskjaer immediately bought 'junior' instead
If he does not buy Odion
Ighalo, Solskjaer will turn to Joshua King, the striker from Man Utd training
but currently plays for Bournemouth.
Joshua King was trained at
Man Utd Academy but his name is known only in 5 years playing for Bournemouth
with 48 goals.
Earlier this year, in the
context of needing a "fire striker" when Rashford was injured, Man
Utd dropped 20 million pounds to buy King on the last day of the Eastern
Market.
However, the Bournemouth
side nearly shouted the price, forcing the Manchester team to turn to borrow
Odion Ighalo.
Despite proving his
ability, Ighalo is hard to be signed by Man Utd because he has turned 30 and
the salary is quite high.
To fill the void in the
attacking line next season, Solskjaer needs to recruit another striker. According
to Sky Sports, the Reds' primary goal remains Joshua King.
However, Man Utd will have
to compete with 6 other teams in the Premier League also want Joshua King.
After being blocked by
Bournemouth earlier this year, King expressed disappointment with the club's
management.
