Manager of demolished hotel among 27 new cases of Coronavirus – Rivers government
The government of Rivers
state has just revealed to the general public that one of the managers of the
demolished hotels in Rivers state, which was done by Governor Nyesom Wike for
going against the lockdown order has reportedly tested positive to the virus.
This information was
revealed on Sunday May 24th by the Rivers state government.
Bariledum Azoroh who is the manager of Prodest Hotel was revealed to be the
manager who had tested positive to the virus and is among the 27 new cases
recorded in the state yesterday 24th May by the NCDC.
It was also recalled by
Paul Nsirim the Rivers state Commissioner for information how some members of
the COVID-19 Task force who had enforced the consequences of disobeying the
order on the hotels had been brutalized and dehumanized which had led to the death
of one of the members of the Task Force.
