Nasarawa Imposes Total Lockdown On LGA Where Lawmaker Died


Nasarawa state government has just revealed that he had ordered for a total lockdown on Nasarawa local government area of the state, which is the home town of the late lawmaker, who died due to complications from COVID-19 in the state.

It has also revealed that the tracing of 74 contacts that are directly linked to the late Adamu Ibrahim (Nasarawa Central, APC), who had died from complications related to COVID-19 has begun.

This information was revealed by the state’s commissioner for information and culture, Dogo Shammah during a press briefing today. The commissioner had also revealed that the state government has also imposed the order of use of facemask in public places starting tomorrow 6th May, 2020.
