NBA legend, Kobe Bryant's Hall of Fame induction ceremony pushed to 2021 due to Coronavirus pandemic
The induction into the basketball
hall of fame of late Kobe Bryant has reportedly been shifted to 2021 due to the
ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The basketball legend,
Bryant, 41, had died with his daughter Gianna and 8 others in a helicopter
crash early January, he was to be inducted into the Massachusetts based
Naismith basketball hall of fame, he and five others which includes Kevin
Garnett and Tim Duncan on August 29th.
The chairman of the
Basketball Hall of Fame, Jerry Colangelo had told the ESPN that they were
definitely canceling it, and that the committee will meet in a few more weeks
to look at options of how, where and when it will hold.
Kobe Bryant was an 18 time
NBS all-star, a three time NBA finals MVP and a five time NBA champion in a the
two decade of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers before he retired in 2016.
