President Trump Tests Negative For The 3rd Time To COVID-19
US President Donald Trump and US Vice President Mike Pence both
tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus that caused the COVID-19 disease,
Reuters news agency quoted
a White House spokesman as saying.
"The president and the vice president have been tested and found negative. Their health is still good."
White House spokeswoman Hogan Gidley said in a statement, without
providing details.
Earlier,
a member of the US Army working at the White House was confirmed to be infected
with COVID-19 and was on the team serving President Trump. This has raised
fears that the two leading leaders of the United States could be infected.
On May 7, at a meeting with the Texas Governor, President Trump
also informed reporters that he had little contact with this personal
attendant. The US leader said he would get a daily health check
afterwards.
On
April 3, the White House said anyone expected to come close to Mr. Trump or Mr.
Pence will be tested quickly COVID-19 to prevent the risk of disease
transmission.
Earlier,
since the outbreak of COVID-19, President Trump had had two tests of COVID-19
after contacting a number of infected officials. Thankfully, all his test
results were negative.
