Russian Minister of Education and Science recovers from COVID-19 Infection

Novosti (Russia) 14/5, said the head of the Ministry of Education and
Science Russia, Valery Falkov, recovered after SARS-CoV virus infection-2
pandemic COVID-19.
Speaking at a meeting on
the development of gene technology, Minister Falkov reported to President
Vladimir Putin that he had overcome COVID-19 and started working again.
Earlier, the Russian
Minister of Culture, Olga Lyubimova, was also cured of COVID-19 after being
confirmed on May 6.
In addition to the above
two names, there are a number of other senior officials in the Russian
Government Cabinet who also have COVID-19, including Prime Minister Mikhail
Mishustin and Minister of Construction Vladimir Yakushev.
Most recently, on May 13,
Putin's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, also said he was positive for the
SARS-CoV-2 virus. Mr. Peskov is currently being treated in a hospital.
Data on the monitoring
site Worldometers.info said, as of 21:30 pm 14/5, Russia recorded 252,245 cases of SARS-CoV-2 virus, of which 2,305 people
were killed.
