The President Of The United States Signs The Ordinance That Controls Social Media Platforms

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday to strengthen the government's ability to control social media platforms.

Speaking to reporters, President Trump stated: 
"Today we protect freedom of speech from the greatest dangers in American history." 

President Trump also accused social media companies of abusing the "censorship, restriction, modification, orientation, concealment and blocking" of most forms of interpersonal or mass communication for audience in the community.

Earlier, on May 25, President Trump threatened to control or shut down social media companies after Twitter for the first time tied the alert to two of the status lines that the White House boss Post on this website for readers to check the information.

In the new status lines posted on Twitter, Mr. Trump continues to accuse technology platforms of not maintaining an objective political viewpoint. The president asserted that Republicans realized that social media platforms completely drowned out voices from conservatives. Trump warned the incumbent government to tightly control or shut down these platforms and require websites to immediately change.

The above decree will direct a Department of Commerce agency petition to the Federal Communications Commission to clarify the scope of Section 230 of the Media Regulatory Act. Another section of the ordinance will prompt relevant agencies to reconsider their spending on social media advertising.
