UNIPORT Student, Accomplice Sentenced To Death By Hanging For Murder

A high court in Rivers state has just sentenced 200 level students of the Department of Physics in the University of Port Harcourt, Ifeanyi Maxwell-Dike and Ugochukwu Nwamiro to death by hanging for the murder of an 8 year old girl, Victory Chikamso Nmezuwuba in 2017.

One of them will be hung on his neck till he dies and the other will be hung on his legs till he dies. One of the condemned Dike when the incident had happened in 2017 was arrested with a bag containing the Chikamso’s remains after the tip off from the members of the Eliozu community of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, who had alerted the police of the incident.

According to reports he had removed the victim’s eyes, finger, vagina and tongue after he had reportedly raped and murdered her with the help of his Cousin, Ugochukwu who was also arrested with him.
