Wike Orders Task Force To Identify Hotels Defiling Lockdown For Demolition

Rivers State Governor, Governor Nyesom Wike has just ordered security officials of the Local Government Task Force to identify hotels that are still in operation in spite of the lockdown order for demolition.

Governor Wike had earlier ordered for a total lockdown on the state in order to curb the spread of the virus in the state. However while inaugurating this taskforce today he gave them the order to move into hotels that are operating and identify them so that the hotel will be demolished, beer parlors included.

The governor had also told the members of the COVID-19 Task Force in the state they will be on the payroll of the state government.
