2023 Presidency belongs to Ndigbo — Jim Nwobodo says


The second Republic Governor of the Old Anambra State, Senator Jim Nwobodo says that the 2023 Presidency rightfully belongs to the South East and no other region in Nigeria.

While speaking to newsmen in his home in Enugu state, on the 22nd June, 2002 the 80 year old politician disclosed that giving up the next Nigeria presidency to an Igbo man or woman was for the interest of equity, Justice and fair play, he urged all political parties to adopt South East as the destination for its next presidential candidates.

He added that anyone who does not believe in the 2023 Igbo Presidency Project does not wish Nigeria well. He also emphasized that in 2023 that the South East Geo Political Zone of the country deserves to be ones to produce the next President of the country that will succeed, President Muhammadu Buhari.

He added that for any nation existing under a tripartite arrangement of the North, South and East, that it is important to allow the other regions of the country to throw their full weight behind the South East in its quest for Igbo presidency.
