Imo State Records First Coronavirus Death

According to reports from the COVID-19 Taskforce team in Imo state on 10^th June, 2020, Imo state recorded its first COVID-19 death. This information was also confirmed by the Chairman of the Taskforce, Professor Maurice Iwu.

Professor Iwu also disclosed that the deceased had an underlying health issue before he contracted the virus and was put in the isolation center which had complicated his condition and also his chances of surviving the infection.

As at Wednesday 10^th June, Imo state has recorded a total of 83 cases of COVID-19 and 1 death.
