Update on Hushpuppi's arrest

International Police (INTERPOL) Nigeria, has just confirmed that Raymond Igbalode a.k.a. Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai.

There had been rumors of his arrest first on internet in the early hours of Wednesday, June 10, 2020. The Commissioner of Police, INTERPOL, Garba Umar, just confirmed this arrest.

During an interview with TheNation confirmed the arrest and also noted that they are currently working on bringing him back to Nigeria to face the fraud charges that was laid against him.

He added that some of the offences were committed while in Nigeria and he has to answer for them. According to the CP he is not alone it as the INTERPOL has also identified them and are currently trailing them.

According to the reports from the CP, Hushpuppi and his fellow accomplices in Nigeria, Dubai and so many other countries had defrauded the US of more than $100 million Covid Relief Funds, which was meant for Americans who are battling with the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
