JUST IN: Suspected Killer Of Uwa Omozuwa Arrested
According to news reports the
Police in Edo state have just arrested one person who is suspected to be part
of the gang that raped and killed the 100-level Microbiology student of UNIBEN,
Uwaila Vera Omozuwa.
Chairperson of Nigerians in
Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, had confirmed this development through
her official twitter handle @abikedabiri.
She mentioned the police carried out the arrest with the help of the thumbprint of the suspect which was found on the fire extinguisher which Omozuwa was attacked with.
A Spokesman from the Edo state
Police Command, Chidi Nwabuzor, also confirmed this arrest too.
He added that the suspect
was arrested after finding the fingerprint on the fire extinguisher she was
attacked with after it was examined.
