Sancho: We Must Fight For Justice
In memory of George Floyd,
who was murdered by the police in the USA, Jadon Sancho described the first
hat-trick in his professional career as a bittersweet joy.
After chasing Bayern Munich
in the Bundesliga, Dortmund passed his weak opponent comfortably, Jadon Sancho
showed his T-shirt with the writing "Justice for George Floyd" after
the first goal he scored.
George Floyd, a
black American, who was murdered by a police official in Minneapolis, USA,
while the video of the murder had led to massive protests across the country.
The 20-year-old footballer
who shared his feelings from his Twitter account after the match said,
"Professional football is the first hat-trick in my life. It is a bittersweet joy for me because now much more important things are happening in the world. We should not ignore them and strive for change. We must come together and fight for justice."
