Veteran Nollywood actress, Bose ‘Madam Tinubu’ Adewoyin, is dead


A Nollywood veteran actress, Bose Adewoyin has just been reported dead. She passed away late Tuesday morning and was buried around 4 pm the same day.

Late Bose Adewoyin is well known for her part in EFUNROYE TINUBU as madam Tinubu which was written by Professor Akinwumi Isola and was directed by Gbenga Adewusi in 1989.

Aunty Bose, as she was warmly called, was a typical actress, costumier and dancer. She was on the commission of the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture that performed Funmi Odusolu’s famous dance musical, ‘ORÍ’ (Destiny).

She has acted alongside many other well-known actors like Oga Bello (Adebayo Salami), in Funke Akindele’s ‘M GHETTO’ where she acted as Mama Onimama while Oga Bello played as Baba Onibaba.
