Sony Launches Its Wearable Air Conditioner

Sony launches the Reon Pocket wearable air conditioner, which can lower its body temperature by as much as 5 degrees.

Taking advantage of the rising air temperatures with the arrival of July, Sony unveiled its first wearable air conditioner, the Reon Pocket.

The wearable air conditioner, which can fit in a tiny pocket on the T-shirt collar and reduce the person's body surface temperature by up to 23 degrees, also comes with a heater mode for use during the winter months.

Powered by a battery that can be recharged in 2 hours, the device offers up to 4 hours of use.

The part of Reon Pocket that touches the human body, takes the body temperature and throws it out with the help of a fan located behind it. The device, which has a similar logic with the refrigerators, reduces the body temperature sensibly.

Reon Pocket can also be controlled with the android and iOS app thanks to various sensors on it. In this way, temperature increase or decrease can be controlled from smartphones.
Reon Pocket, Sony's first wearable air conditioner, went on sale with a $ 120 price tag.
