Russia's oil income decreased by 35 percent

 

The Russian Federal Customs Service reported that oil export volume and revenue fell.

Petroleum and natural gas exports make up about 40 percent of the federal budget in Russia.

However, Moscow's oil export revenue decreased by 34.8 percent to 39 billion dollars in the January-June period compared to the same period last year.

According to Russian Federal Customs Service data, the oil export volume in the country fell by 2.6 percent in the first 6 months of the year compared to the same period of 2019, to 125 million tons.

During the same period, Russia's oil export revenue decreased by 34.8 percent to 39 billion dollars.

The country's income from oil exports fell by 6 percent to 121 billion dollars last year compared to the previous year.
