Congress is currently
facing a September 30 deadline to fund the government, or the government will
have to close many operations.
Reuters reported, on
September 3, the White House said it was expecting Congress to pass a bill
needed to avoid the US government shutdown at the end of the month, when the
current spending bill expires.
Speaking to a reporter,
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said: "We believe funding may
be possible to avoid (the Government) shutdown."
Reportedly, the US Congress
is facing a deadline of September 30 to fund the government, or the government
will have to close many activities.
Passing the bill to fund
the government independent of Congress and the White House negotiations on a
COVID-19 bailout bill, but as the September 30 deadline approaches, there is a
high chance that it will combine. Both content into negotiations.
